Martin is an experienced International Sales and Marketing Executive, having worked both in the UK and US on a number of different sides of the business:

  • Client / manufacturer (GM, Ford, Nissan, Jaguar) as District Sales Manager / Marketing Operations Manager / Brand Manager
  • Major advertising agencies (Goodby-Silverstein & Partners in the US, Wunderman/WPP in the UK) as Regional Director / Consultant
  • Google as Head of Automotive

Key consultancy work including:

  • Significant digital work at Wunderman, pulling together and negotiating all the content partners for the Pan-European launch of the new Fiesta website
  • Working on the Jaguar Land Rover account at their dealer marketing agency, EMO, to settle the account in with these new clients and ensure the correct resourcing and management
  • Optimize Search Marketing, developing new business opportunities and account management
  • Successfully developing the launch strategy for Nissan Motors GB with their LEAF, the world’s first affordable and practical electric vehicle. This work culminated in facilitating all the content for the Nissan UK dealer conference in Geneva
  • Developing the first ever customer initiative “Trust My Garage” for the Retail Motor Industry (RMI)
  • Creating key business development strategy at the fully integrated communications agency the Foundry
